GTA VI
Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, officially announced the launch time of Grand Theft Auto VI in its fourth quarter 2024 business results report. Accordingly, the most anticipated game of this decade will be launching in the fall of 2025, instead of the general 2025 timeline as previously reported.
A company representative said: “We enter fiscal year 2025 with positive momentum and expect to achieve revenue from 5.55 to 5.65 billion USD. This forecast reflects Rockstar Games narrowing the time frame GTA VI launch window from 2025 to fall 2025. We are confident that Rockstar Games will deliver a great entertainment experience.”
Besides, Take-Two also announced that GTA V has reached 200 million copies sold, an impressive number.
This achievement makes the game the second best-selling game of all time, “only” 100 million copies away from the chart-topping game, Minecraft.
Except for the trailer released a while ago, Rockstar has not yet revealed any more information about the blockbuster GTA VI. In addition, there are also rumors that the company is planning to release a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 1, but Rockstar has not yet confirmed it.
